52 Haiku Week 11
Oops! I was brain dead this week. Sorry for posting this so late.
The World spins around
Like a dradle in the sky
Will it stop someday?

This month’s work of art is a real throw back — to the times of the cave dwellers.

Don’t cross this Momma!
For the past two weeks I’ve been dealing with my dog’s health. She’s been sneezing blood all over the place — a bad combination of high blood pressure and aspirin seemed to cause it. Anyway, I’ve really had blood on the brain lately, thus this somewhat dark haiku for this week.
Cleaned gore off the floor
Can I take it anymore?
Please stop sneezing blood!
There, that feels better.
Today’s haiku was inspired by an absolutely beautiful sunset I enjoyed last week. The sky was slightly overcast and the layers of clouds were all different colors … light purple blue, brilliant pink orange and even a scattering of white. Stunning.

I received a box of Leadership window cards this week. There are 30 in a pack and you are supposed to open one each day. The first one I opened said “Turn toward the fear.” That phrase inspired today’s haiku.
Turn toward the fear
Face it with courage and grace
Remove fear’s power
Would you believe I wrote this haiku in time for last Wednesday’s post but just forgot to post it? It was a crazy week.
A big, fat smile
Works its way across my face
What a cheeky dog!
Busy, busy, swamped!
There is so much to do. ARG!
Flat out occupied!
Hmmm. I guess my busy life is beginning to get to me.
